Products > TruTip
TruTip is a revolutionary in-tip chemistry that simplifies sample preparation by combining all of the complex protocols of nucleic acid purification into just a few easy steps that can be automated or used with a standard pipette. Our patented, low-cost approach is based on a porous binding matrix uniquely embedded in a disposable pipette tip, and is designed to accommodate relatively large-volume, complex sample matrices, such as saliva, sputum, blood or stool. The TruTip advantage is simple, fast, easy and affordable nucleic acid purification and extraction. TruTip extractions deliver inhibitor-free, purified nucleic acid for downstream library prep for whole genome sequencing (WGS), targeted next generation sequencing (NGS) and standard PCR protocols.
TruTip is designed to handle a range of sample volumes and a variety of biological sources, eliminating the need for vacuum filtration, centrifugation, and hazardous chemicals. Concentration and purification make each sample ready for downstream analysis with yields that are superior or equal to standard methods.
TruTip is flexible based on your throughput requirements; available as a manual procedure utilizing a simple hand-held electronic pipette, or as a fully-automated, small, affordable bench-top instrument.
We have experience extracting nucleic acids from a wide range of targets and sample types. Try our Universal Kit for applications such as the following:
